Kings Dominion

THE BEST TIME TO VISIT

Plan to visit the park when attendance is lightest. Historically weekdays during the summer and most Sundays are less crowded than Saturdays.

BRING ALONG

For cool evenings remember to bring a light jacket or sweat shirt, which can be stored in our lockers during the day. Bring sunscreen, lip protection and a hat or sun visor to protect yourself from the summer sun. Of course, if you forget them, these items can be purchased in the park. Also, wear comfortable, broken-in shoes and cotton clothing: it's light and dries quickly on water rides, such as White Water Canyon. You may want to also bring an extra pair of dry socks.

GETTING AROUND THE PARK

Make sure to pick up a park map at guest services, located at the front gate. We also have directional signs located throughout the park, to point you to our major attractions. Make sure to plan a meeting location and time with the rest of your group, in case you or anyone in your group should become separated during the day. The Eiffel Tower makes a great meeting place and is easy to find from anywhere in the park. Additionally, we provide strollers and wheelchairs for a small rental fee.

For everyone's safety, guests are not permitted to bring coolers, outside food, or other drinks into Kings Dominion.  Three shaded picnic areas are available in the guest parking lot. Grills and open fires are not allowed.
